HVN Knightsbridge
Retail strategy and design for a city sanctuary, where commerciality lives quietly inside an ultra-luxury wellness world.
SheridanCX partnered with HVN to shape the retail strategy and design of its Knightsbridge destination: a pioneering luxury wellness sanctuary in the heart of London. Our role was to introduce product and commerciality so seamlessly that the retail dimension feels integral to the guest journey rather than bolted on, with window displays designed to draw clients in from one of the city's most prestigious streets.
A sanctuary in the city, where retail is present, considered and quietly persuasive.
HVN Knightsbridge was conceived as a true city sanctuary, an environment that leans into nature, calm and longevity. It offers what until now could only be found outside the capital: a high-end retreat designed to transport clients beyond the urban pace. Through organic textures, biophilic influences and refined spatial planning, the space delivers a wellness experience that is both immersive and restorative.
Our strategy ensured product and commerciality were introduced without disrupting that calm. Retail is woven into the overall environment so it feels integral to the guest journey, supporting the wellness narrative rather than competing with it, present when it should be and invisible when it should not.

“Even the windows should feel like wellness. They are the first invitation inside.”
Window displays were designed to achieve two things at once: to form a natural extension of the interior, and to capture the attention of passers-by in a fiercely competitive luxury setting. Discovery begins from the very first glance, with commerciality supporting rather than interrupting the sense of escape.

The window is a planted terrarium rather than a plinth, so the same object reads as landscape from the pavement and as a considered product moment from inside. Product sits above it at eye level on slender suspended shelves, close enough to browse on the way past reception, quiet enough never to feel like a shop counter.
Product held in the architecture, not placed on top of it.
Beyond the threshold, retail is carried by the building itself. Arched niches are formed in the plaster walls and lit from within, so the product wall reads as part of the room rather than as fixturing. Botanical bas-relief, hand-finished surfaces and planted apertures continue through the treatment areas, holding the same language from the street to the last door.

Every opening is drawn as a soft arch and every edge is radiused, so guests move through the space without a single hard corner. The result is a route that feels found rather than designed, and a retail offer that appears exactly where a guest is already pausing.
More than a space for treatments, HVN Knightsbridge is a holistic experience, an escape in the city that feels like stepping into another world.
